TJ is the creative force behind Golden Fleece Collective, bringing years of experience as an event curator, musician, photographer, host, and award-winning poet. He has led and produced dynamic event series including Certified Slammer Poetry Slam, Suave Sessions Jam Session, and Ghost of the Loft Showcase, while performing and hosting across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. A slam champion at renowned venues such as the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and The Bowery Poetry Club, and a cofounder of the thriving poetry community Poets Across Communities, TJ’s artistry spans poetry, bass performance, percussion, and visual storytelling through photography. His mission is to create a space where artists can simply be- to play, create, and heal on a foundation rooted in integrity and community. Through Golden Fleece, he brings a deep commitment to cultivating a true safe haven for creatives, building the kind of transformative space every artist deserves.

Founder & Board Chair

A multimedia production specialist and rapper/songwriter, he toplines and executive-produces his work from concept to completion, blending his background in film and journalism to build fully realized, story-driven projects. His creative identity fuses dark cinematic storytelling with raw emotional expression, pulling from hip-hop, rock, theatre, and broadcast culture to explore themes of identity, resilience, and transformation. JT is driven by a personal mission to celebrate individuality and help others unlock unseen potential. Through Golden Fleece, he is committed to creating the stability, consistency, and safe artistic refuge he once searched for, ensuring every creative has a place to be seen, heard, and valued.

Secretary & Photographer

Emily brings a rich background in media, music, and creative operations, currently serving as Video Editor & Journalist at Melodic Magazine, and Photographer for The Camera Affect. She also helps manage The Sticker Spectrum, a family-run organization that promotes autism acceptance through unique handmade stickers and thoughtful digital media, where she oversees social media and website operations. Emily’s blend of creative leadership, documentation skills, and experience with live events helps shape Golden Fleece’s visual identity and community outreach.

Treasurer

A Music and Sound Recording graduate of the University of New Haven, Holden has deep roots in the DIY arts scenes of Connecticut and New York, with broad venue and booking relationships that support the Collective’s growth. In addition to his nonprofit leadership role, he works as a Senior AV Technician for Pinnacle Live at the One Hotel in Brooklyn, where he manages complex audiovisual production and event execution. Holden also owns Canopy, a recording studio in Queens, and leverages his technical and business experience to help guide Golden Fleece’s financial planning, budgeting, and long-term sustainability as it builds toward a nonprofit creative hub.
